Antiviral and antifungal activities of lanthanum molybdate and copper molybdate

نویسندگان

چکیده

After La2Mo2O9 (LMO), Cu-substituted LMO (LCuMO), and CuMoO4 (CuMO) powders were prepared by complex polymerization method or oxide mixing method, their antiviral antifungal activities evaluated. The obtained samples having a crystal structure of either with specific surface area 3.0–6.0 m2/g. These exhibited almost equal activity against bacteriophage Qβ, whereas CuMO was found to have the highest Φ6. An test based on JIS Z 2911 showed LCuMO high activity; had activity. In fact, large amount ion leakage inoculated suspension. Cu promoted that molybdate ion. inferred as attributable generation reactive oxygen species.

The lanthanum(III) molybdate(VI) La4Mo7O27

Crystals of the ortho-rhom-bic phase La(4)Mo(7)O(27) (lanthanum molybdenum oxide) were obtained from a non-stoichiometric melt in the pseudo-ternary system La(2)O(3)-MoO(3)-B(2)O(3). In the crystal structure, distorted square-anti-prismatic [LaO(8)] and monocapped square-anti-prismatic [LaO(9)] polyhedra are connected via common edges and faces into chains along [010]. These chains are arranged...

One- and two-electron reduction of molybdate reversibly bound to the archaeal tungstate/molybdate transporter WtpA.

Reversible binding of the tetrahedral oxoanions MoO(4)(2-) and WO(4)(2-) to two carboxylato ligands of the soluble scavenger protein WtpA from the hyperthermophilic archaeon Pyrococcus furiosus enforces a quasi-octahedral MO(6) coordination in which the +VI oxidation state is destabilized.

Algae and humans share a molybdate transporter.

Almost all living organisms need to obtain molybdenum from the external medium to achieve essential processes for life. Activity of important enzymes such as sulfite oxidase, aldehyde oxidase, xanthine dehydrogenase, and nitrate reductase is strictly dependent on the presence of Mo in its active site. Cells take up Mo in the form of the oxianion molybdate, but the molecular nature of the transp...

The pyrochlore-type molybdate Pr1.37Ca0.63Mo2O7

Praseodymium calcium dimolybdenum hepta-oxide, Pr(1.37)Ca(0.63)Mo(2)O(7), crystallizes in the cubic pyrochlore-type structure. In the crystal structure, MoO(6) octa-hedra are linked together by common corners, forming a three-dimensional [Mo(2)O(6)] network. The Pr and Ca atoms and the remaining O atoms are located in the voids of the [Mo(2)O(6)] network. The Pr and Ca atoms are distributed sta...

The pyrochlore-type molybdate Pr2Mo1.73Sc0.27O7

Dipraseodymium molybdenum scandium hepta-oxide, Pr2Mo1.73Sc0.27O7, crystallizes in the cubic pyrochlore-type structure. In the crystal, (Mo,Sc)O6 octa-hedra are linked together by common corners, forming a three-dimensional [(Mo,Sc)2O6] framework. The Pr atom and another O atom atom are located in the voids of this framework. The Mo and the Sc atom are distributed statistically over the same 16...
